Sunday's Best

Here is a more recent sketch...it's was for back-to school! I try not to lay down any colors on most of my drawings just in case I decide later to make them into rubber stamps. I have a few ladies tell me that they love my sketches...I am very humbled by that. And thank you for all of your kind words! It keeps me going. Have a restful Sunday and stay cool!

Here's hoping to cooler weather! It was 97 degrees here today in Baltimore. I love the warm weather but not the humidity that goes along with it. I will have more cards to show next week. More Fashion

Okay, so I had to show a little more fashion today. This drawing I did a while back in Tria marker by Pantone and Prisma color pencil. I love the result when you mix both together. It gives you more texture. Always lay down the marker first, then use the color pencils. This is a great way to make hair look real. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Merci

This is one of my favorite cards because this was a card taught in one of my card classes. The background paper is Bazzill black, then I used a white glossy paper and stamped the pattern onto it using Versamark clear and while wet, I poured on clear detail embossing powder, then heat embossed it. Next I used a couple of ink pads like magenta, olive green, orange and gold. I played with each color then used a paper towel to remove most of the color until I reached a color that I liked. It is a resist. I then added a bow, flowers and brads, and my sentiment. I also edged the card with a gold Cat's eye ink pad.

Girl in the Rain

Here is a fun card! I used MM die cuts, black Bazzil cardstock, Darby printed paper, Rubber Romance stamps and the sentiment is A muse! She is sportin' a Burberry bag!

Christmas In July

Here is a cute little card that I made a while back for my Christmas cards. I just love Stamping Bella's and have quite a collection. I think she is so cute. Of course I used my Prima flowers, Papertrey sentiment and a few gems.

Here We Go!

Okay, here is a card I made for a friend. I used Prima flowers and Prima's "Say it in Crystal" flourish. I used black cardstock from Bazzill and the printed paper is from Cloud 9 I think. Hope you enjoy this one!
